For hands-on learning, the kit has materials for 15 groups of students, including fine and coarse sand, fine gravel, activated charcoal, potassium aluminum sulfate, calcium oxide (lime), kaolin (clay) powder, green food coloring, white vinegar, plastic cups, and stirring sticks. The kit has a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use, and a material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures.
