I wasn't impressed with Nike or even New Balance that I like. I wanted something stylish comfortable and can do some light trail hiking. Now with any new footwear, you either take care of it or go tear it up on the trails. I use this for lots of walking and some light hiking but its so fancy I avoid the bad weather. My left foot a long time ago had an injury, I believe I have a fallen arch so not exactly flat feet. These have the support I need but they are expensive obviously. But what isn't expensive these days. If I'm gonna pay for something I want it to check off all the boxes.I have kind of a wide foot but it feels snug upon putting in on, not anything out of the ordinary. I wear a size 10 and these boots are a size 10 for me. I could see how you might need a half size up. Only had the boots 1 week so lets see how they hold up. As long as they don't fall apart I do generally take good care of my shoes and boots.I will update as time goes by how these are doing. I've never bought a North Face boot before and have recently purchased 2 of them. My feet hurt and I needed something with cushion good support. If you rub your hands on the bottom of the boot its the non slip kind of rubber.Based on majority of the reviews that I have read, definitely go a half size up! I wear a 10 and decided to go with a 10 1/2 sure glad that I did. The moment I put the shoes on, I could feel the comfort and quality of the shoe. My job requires a ton of walking from building to building and up and down stairs, as well as heavy rain here in North Texas. After searching for the right tactical hybrid boot in Bates, Columbia, under armor, QRC and Oakley I feel that I made the right decision with North face. The boots are very nice looking. The pair I had was to tight on my feet. I had a10/5 not wide enough. Also the one thing I did not likes the sighing the shoe strings I did not like the last two holders, you have to string the lace thrower them. I like the open ones.I like the boot very much but I am using shoe trees in both since I require a wider fit.Buenos zapatos pero como que les falta robustez.?Classic look, sturdy boots and real waterproof for urvan adventuresFits well, although they feel a bit tight while slipping on your feet they fit well once they are on. They are quite warm as well and held up against the Alaskan cold.Molto bella
