Hey guys!Hope you’re well ? ❤Winters are here and my skin is super dry and flaky. I’ve been needing more exfoliation than usual which made me look for good scrubs which will clean my dry skin without being too harsh as vigorous and too much scrubbing can be harmful for skin.I have recently come across a vegan and cruelty free brand called Aaranya, who make a wide range of products and all of them look very promising. One of their products is a charcoal face scrub.Packaging and cost :- I’ve been using this scrub for a couple of weeks now. The product is nicely packaged and comes in a sturdy tub with a twist lid. It is also very economical and affordable for it’s quality and costs only 325 rupees for 100 gms of product.Notable ingredients:- It is a charcoal scrub, so it has charcoal. Duh-uh, right? But it also has essential oils of eucalyptus and lemongrass which give this product anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.My initial thoughts:– Most of the charcoal based products that I have used have a very strong and pungent smell to it, but not this one. It surprisingly smells very nice! Also, when I first looked at the gooey scrub, it reminder me of a high end skin care brand called Glamglow, the look of it is very similar.How I use it:- Using a big dollop of this scrub and circularly massaging your face for at least a minute, concentrating on your problem areas. For me, it has to be my T-zone and chin.My experience:- The granules of this scrub are not very fine, which is great as its not very abrasive. A single use of this scrub makes skin smoother and renewed. The flakes and dead skin are considerably less. I used this twice a week for 2 weeks and my skin is much better than what it was earlier. I used Araanya’s charcoal face mask after scrubbing and it worked great for me!Final verdict:- Do I recommend this scrub? Yes I do!
