I often find European skincare products too overly fragranced so I was honestly expecting this to smell very perfume-y and scented. However, I am quite surprised it was not like that at all. This product is for face and neck. This is not one of those intensely moisturizing creams but more of a product to target wrinkles and loose skin, so don't judge this product on its moisturizing properties. Yes, it does moisturize but if you have very dry skin, I would recommend getting something else that is especially for moisture. Once you are no longer worried about the dryness, then give this product a try and let it work on the elasticity of your skin.After applying, this did not make my face feel greasy or tacky. My skin soaked this up pretty quickly and it doesn't feel like I have anything on my face. I didn't try doing this but I almost feel like this could be something used to prep your face for makeup, but won't make it greasy before you apply makeup. I personally only plan to use this at night before bed. I didn't experience any irritation or uncomfortable feeling on my face. I looked at the ingredients list and there wasn't really anything on it that my skin would be irritated with.I am using this more as a prevention (of wrinkles and sagging) and not to reverse any damage. Like any lotions and potions, it does take weeks and months of constant use to see any real change. I haven't used this long enough to comment on how well it works on firming skin or wrinkles. I do, however, like the formula and consistency of this cream.Overall I am quite happy with this French skincare product and now have this brand on my radar. I have never heard of Alphascience until seeing it here on Amazon and now I am intrigued.
