Kevin Gray mastered this using the original UK PYE records master tapes. I compared it to UK Pye originals and found it sounds even better. You cannot go wrong with this or the rest of the Kinks reissues HOWEVER, you have to really be careful because over the years there have been so many reissues of this catalog you could end up with the wrong one. This is something Amazon needs to better deal with, though there are record stores too where you can find in the same bin multiple versions of the same record, some of which are puke-inducingly bad and some of which were cut from tape and properly pressed.
