This is a very good jacket. I was hoping it had the fleece lining but doesn’t. My other Apex Northface has one and thought this one would too.The jacket is warm when it needs to be and not to hot. Great jacketI was disappointed for a several reasons...- this jacket did not come with pit zippers- It doesn't appear to use Gortex for waterproofing... which is normally advertised on the garment sleeve- It's cut narrow in the shoulders and shallow under the arms which makes it fit very restrictive- the Velcro on the sleeves is almost useless because it won't tighten the sleeves tight enough to keep the weather out without glovesI'm returning this item and ordering directly from North Face after my questions are answered from their customer service number.I live in the SW of Idaho so we don't get a lot of Rain therefore I rarely used this jacket for its intended purpose or at all. After having it for about 1 year we finally had a really good rain storm and I happened to grab this jacket. Spent about 1/2 hour outside in what we in Idaho would call a "Good" rain storm (aka light drizzle to most) . Came inside to find my shoulders and back were completely soaked. The dryvent jacket material didn't shed any water, seemed to absorb it really well though.Took it back to the place I originally got this from and they said it had Delaminated. Ive never washed the jacket (because I never used it frequently enough) so not sure how this happened as the coat has always been stored in doors in conditioned spaces.Going on 2 1/2 months waiting for Northface to honor their "lifetime warranty".Say the least I'm less than impressed. I wish the Northface would spend more on their customer service than their advertising and also put out products worthy of their intended use.Wouldnt recommend.
