For the price, this is an excellent helmet. It is relatively cool even during weather in the low 90’s and is reasonably comfortable. I can’t speak to its protective qualities and hope I never need to.I've been using a motorcycle helmet with the Snell M2015 rating for years at HPDE track days, but at the last event they only allowed SA2015 rated helmets.I wanted the Bell Mag Sport open face helmet, but it's $300 and I only do one track day per year. The cheaper Conquest helmets have a lot of negative comments about how big they are, so I wanted a helmet that wouldn't require a lot of additional headroom. I drive a 2018 Camaro, so the headroom is limited. The G-Force helmet is good in this regard - the top of the helmet is approximately only an inch above the top of my head.I take off a rating star however for the comfort. It's not nearly as comfortable as my HJC motorcycle helmet. Like others have said, the cheek pads squeeze in too much. Otherwise, the size fits the same as my HJC. Both are size Large, and my head measured about 22-1/2" going by the helmet sizing guide.The strap also lacks a snap to buckle up the excess, but not really a big deal.Looking forward to driving with it in a few weeks at my annual track day.UPDATE: 15-Aug-2019 - I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars after taking this helmet out on the track during an HPDE track day. The helmet is actually very comfortable. The tightness in the cheek area was not an issue at all. So nothing to complain about other than the minor point of the strap not having a snap to snug up the loose end once it's buckled.This helmet is super comfortable. It has a nice little visor accent that is cool. It is a little bit bulky as far as helmets go but seems to give excellent protection and still give you plenty of good peripheral vision. I would definitely recommend the helmet. The price point is great and shipped very quickly. It ships in a very nice box well protected. Also includes a nice helmet bag as well as a couple stickers!This is not a high quality helmet, but if you need something for a few track days, this works well. If I was going to do more than than that, I would invest in something a little nicer.The helmet is not as thick as I thought it would be, and I fit in my car without bumping on the roof.I would recommend this to anyone who needs a helmet for SCCA track days.This is a great helmet for the money. It's hard to find a store anymore where you can actually try on various helmets for fit and comfort, so I took a leap and ordered this one. It fits great and is as comfortable as a helmet off the shelf can actually be. I have others, but I also wanted an open face helmet for other occasions.The helmet is a little bulky, the check pads do fit a little funny, but you can not beat the price for a Snell / SCCA approved helmet. Period. End of sentence. These make good primary helmets, and even better secondary / backup helmets to use for extra riders. Glad I saved my money getting these.I have used it for two track days. It is comfort and seems to be of good quality. It is Snell certified which is what I needed. The only con I have is it is a tight fit in my car ( head room).Helmet fits true to size. Light weight for non carbon composite helmet. Missing 1 star from review due to 2 issues. Visor could be more sturdy. The thin shade attached to it could be secured better. Lastly, it could use more padding inside towards the top of helmet. Cheek pads are padded well, along with side, but top is just thin piece of padding. Realizing this isn't $600+ composite helmet, for price it's great value.
