The SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) flange is a high-pressure hydraulic flange used in oil hydraulic systems in many fields and where there is passage of oil under pressure. The connection type for this SAE flange is in socket weld (weld-in) connection. A complete set of SAE flange consists of one male flange (counterflange), an O-ring flange (female side), NBR O-ring seal, socket cap screws and spring washers. The working pressure is up to 3000 PSI (Code 61). The allowable working temperature is -40°C - +120°C. Installation with SAE split flange for usage in tight and limited areas. The material used is carbon steel ST52.3 and the body is made via normalized forgings. Normalization process increases the hardness and strength of steel. This steel grade is readily weldable with excellent resistance to external impact. It is a type of low alloy steel with great tensile strength. The leak free connection is suitable for high pressures, larger sizes and assembly in tight quarters. This SAE flange meets the standard of SAE J518 and ISO 6162.
