I think this is perfect for my guest bedroom. I didn't use the curtains as I felt the valance was nice enough for my windows. Color and pattern very traditional and pretty.Looking just like the picturesWhen I ordered this comforter I thought it would look exactly like the pictures. I was so excited about putting my bed together. When I opened the box I immediately set up my room. Once I put it on the bed I realized that my curtains were made of the same material as the sheets and the comforter was not even close to what I saw on the front of the bag. The comforter is not fluffy. It almost looks like a duvet cover it’s so thin! The curtains were supposed to be dark like the color in the design and they were not. I wanted my bed to look just like the picture! I am not happy. I maybe returning this. I paid too much money to not be absolutely pleased. I went through a lot trying to put my room together. Just moved into my new house and I really was excited, but this put a damper on my excitement. I am looking for a replacementsTo say I love this bedset is an understatement. the color is so beautiful and just what I wanted for my new bed. There are a lot of mixed reviews on here about this set but you get what you pay for. My bed is a queen so I ordered the king set to make sure it fit how I wanted it to. I wanted the comforter to have some length off the side of the bed and I didn't want the fitted sheet coming off as I slept in the middle of the night so I just tucked the extra fabric under my mattress. The bed skirt was a bit long as well but again I ordered a king size set so I folded and tucked that as well to make it the right length for my frame. So far I haven't found any hanging threads or snags in the material and the comforter is actually more fluffy than I thought it would be from reading some of the reviews on here. The sheets and comforter do come wrinkled out of the bag but if that's a big deal to you then iron them I guess. I don't see the point as there are going to get wrinkled as I sleep anyway. All in all I took a risk ordering this and I wasn't disappointed but to each is own. If you want something extra fancy then go to Macy's or Bloomingdales & pay a arm and a leg for it. I have already gotten tons of compliments on this set and I have only had it on my bed for a couple of days lolIt’s goodI loved the comforter but the sheets are terrible. Very very thin and I will be surprised if they last through one wash.Solely based on appearance, we love it! It looks luxurious. However we had to get a second blanket to sleep with under the comforter because the material is not the most comfortable, almost similar to a men’s button up suit shirt material, if that makes sense. We love how it all looks together, and with the second blanket it makes it better!Great product and even a better value for all the items included in this package. I rated it a 4 for only one reason, it is too small. The dimensions indicate it is 106 wide, however when measuring on the bed up the side across and then down the other side it measures about 102. When my wife and i hold it straight across with a tape measure, if we pull on it to stretch it, it is about 103-104. We have a king mattress with a built in pillow top as how they make many king and queen mattresses today, and it is no where near the width it needs to be. They need to be about 110 wide to work for a king with a pillow top. So just know you have now been warned. Again, very nice set, just doesn't fit all "king" mattresses. As usual Amazon is always great to work with and we are sending it back.Way OVERPRICED for the quality. Arrived with a big hole in one of the pillows as per the attached pic. It’s a flimsy set and there are thread strings coming out of every which corner you look at. It looks and feels very cheap and is not oversized like the details describe. If I want to replace the pillow, I have to return the whole thing and I’ve already taken everything apart. It’s not worth the time or effort to repackage and return the set and hope for a better outcome. Items like this are best purchased when you can see and feel the fabric. I do not recommend this product and really wonder if the positive reviews are fake.
