H - 5'4" W - 172 Size - XL, 38B, some weight in stomach areaEasy to slip on/off & I get compliments on it often. Not a super light weight dress but definitely lighter than the average dress and I'm wearing it in mid 80 degree weather. Armpits are decently high and don't show my bra. It comes just to my knees on length and I like dresses just a bit loose as to hide the rolls--I could have gone with Large but any shrinkage and I would not have felt comfortable.Not see through at all, at least in the patterned and darker colors. I even have one in white with orange flowers and it doesn't show anything underneath but I didn't wear dark colored underthings. It's a pretty go-to dress that is very convenient.I've washed it in the machine and recommend using cold or warm water and turning it inside out prior to washing or the material will start to go from completely smooth and soft to a little less so. I also hang them to dry although one accidentally got thrown in the dryer with other clothes and it seemed to still be fine.After wearing dark, solid colors all winter in snow country, I switch to dresses in lighter, brighter colors through September. Lightweight, nice drape, swing dresses are fun to wear because they swish back and forth when I walk.This brand is spot on for attractive colors, style and fit. I'm 5 ft tall, 135 lbs, order a large, wash and dry on medium heat and it shrinks for a perfect fit. I bought a bunch of colors, the blue and white evokes compliments. The vertical strips are slimming and make me look taller.I'm 5'4" and 150 lbs, with an apple body shape and D cups. I usually wear large, but I had to send another one of these I'd bought (in a different style) back to get a medium. It's loose fitting, I know. And the medium is loose like it should be. But the large was swimming. I've bought about 4 of these now, and love them. Casual enough to wear around the house (with pockets--hooray!). But can also add a blazer and dress them up. Nice!I love the A line of this dress. The marbled pattern I chose was just a bit different from designs I typically choose. The only thing I don't like about the dress is the pockets are not good for putting anything in except your hands. They aren't usable for things like tissues or cell phone. Seriously every time I wear this dress someone stops me to say how much they like it.I love this dress. I have had so many compliments when wearing this. 5x is perfect for my 5'3" 300lb body. Wear with a cardigan or not, it is so so cute & comfortable. Length right above my knees. Boots or sandals with it look great either way. I order two so that I will have a back up when the other needs cleaned.This is a great little summer dress that slips on quickly. I ordered a 3X based on the size chart and it fit well. I am 5’ 8” and it hit just above my knees. Even during the hottest summer days it is nice and cool.There are two things about it that I’m not thrilled about, though. The material seems to “pill” a bit in the wash so I have started to wash it inside out and hang to dry to see if that helps. The other thing is that the vertical pattern is very slightly tilted which bothers me a little. Most people probably wouldn’t notice but I do.Therefore I gave it 4 stars.Overall, decent dress for the money. Flattering on larger-sized women.Fits well-I am 5’6” and weigh 165 lbs-I normally wear size 12 and I ordered XL-I purchased one for my daughter also and she loves it-perfect for over a bathing suit and even out for dinner-I will be packing this for my trip to HawaiiI generally wear a large. Mine was a little tight. That was ok.
