It is very powder, but I mixed little water and applied it like ( mulatni mitti on face). It dries quick so either you scrub as u apply or like I did wait till it dries and again pat face with water and scrub. It is very very fragrant loved it. Face feels fresh and glowy like it should after scrub. Wash it with any ayurvedic facewash :) .....
