I ordered this as I was keen to try a different way to keep my legs hair-free.Firstly, it is really easy to use. The instructions could be better, but I found that looking at videos online helped me to work out how to hold it and the speed at which to use it.When I use it on my legs, I find that I need to have it on highest setting and that doesn’t cause me any discomfort or redness. I quite like the smell of burning hair (but that just might be me!), not least because it shows that it is working. I do find it disappointing though that sometimes I have gone over my legs once or twice and there are still a lot of hairs left behind, even when I have been conscientious in following the way in which the hair grows and not just going up my leg in a straight line.I haven’t found that it has slowed down the speed of hair but I appreciate that this is a longer-term procedure and isn’t a replacement for a quick shave. It needs to be done on a regular basis and no-no suggest that this needs to be done 2-3 times a week for a period of six weeks. I love the fact though that I can do it anywhere - if I’m watching tv on the sofa, or lying in bed in the morning. It is so portable.The main thing that I don’t like about this is the buffer, which seems to be pretty useless to be honest. It’s already showing wear and tear around the edges and I’ve used it no more than 25 times. I think it’s the biggest disappointment and I will probably change to using a body brush or even just a towel in future.
