The North Face Men's Gordon Lyons Quarter Zip Fleece Pullover - Lightweight, Breathable & Warm for Hiking, Camping & Outdoor Activities

I used to own a Patagonia Better Sweater which someone stole out of my locker at the gym. I had that for about 1 month and wore it every day, so I was happy when I finally bought this and received it in the mail yesterday.I saw a lot of comments saying how this wasn't nearly as warm as the better sweater, or how it was colder in windy conditions. I walked around outside for 3 hours today in chilly, windy conditions and not once did I feel like I was missing my Patagonia. As far as I can tell, this is nearly the exact same product, in a slightly different color. The fleece feels like the same material, and they are the same amount of thickness too. Even the pockets are nearly identical. And since this costs $65 and Patagonia costs $100, this is a much better buy.This pullover by North Face is true to size; wears well and washes well. Comfortable, warm, looks great. I occasionally get a little warm and sweaty on intense winter hikes in these but like that I can go from hiking to town without taking different clothes as long as its not too cold. I also wear it to lounge around the house in the winter as well. Compared to Patagonia, it's cheaper and fits slightly looser in the shoulders which is good for my build. Patagonia fit a little tighter for a slimmer build. I like that the North Face is a little cheaper and on sale more often than the other brand.Very nice warm fleece top. My husband loves these and this is his 3rd Gordon Lyon fleece. They are durable and wash well. He usually wears a large, but has this in a XL. He really is between the 2 sizes, with the large being slightly tight in the shoulders , and the Xl a bit big. He decided to keep the XL for the shrink just a little.Product arrived earlier than expected and as described.
