Original review: I’m excited about the sleeping bag because it seems like a great product, but the internal phone pocket was sewn incorrectly. It seems like the zipper was sewn on top of the phone pocket so the pocket got cut off, and the pocket is now super small and irregularly shaped (and wouldn’t fit even a small phone). I’m disappointed by this quality.Update: I contacted both the seller and North Face through their website. North Face was going to require me to pay to send the sleeping bag to their warranty department for repair (which seemed a bit costly and annoying to do), but the seller on Amazon was very gracious and allowed me to easily return this bag in exchange for one without the pocket issue. The new bag is great, with no issues!I wanted a solid three season backpacking sleeping bag that would pair well with my partner's, and the Cat's Meow is perfect. I am 5'8" and I am at the max threshold for the women's regular - the bottom of the bag is snug against my feet and the hood is snug around my head with the hood covering my eyes, no extra room but comfortable for me and great for optimal heat retention. My partner has a 'Long' Cat's Meow right hand zip that was bought a few years ago, and they zip together exactly as hoped. It compresses extremely well to strap onto my pack. It's a classic for a reason!I bought this for my son as his first mummy bag for backpacking with his dad. I had to get this for him because it’s the same bag (at least the name) I had 25 years ago. I checked it out and it’s a better bag than I remember having. I’m a fan of The North Face. It seems that in general their products have a really good feel and quality yet aren’t prohibitively expensive. I’ve moved on to a four season bag as my old bones don’t tolerate chilly nights like they once did. For a good three season bag you can’t go wrong with this one.Warm and light one of the best sleeping bagsWill use bag on future sheep hunting trip by recomendationPerfect for cold weatherI have an older Cats meow, and with them side by side, you see how cheap North Face has gotten on them. For one, the material is not nearly as heavy, very thin and almost plastic like, feels super sweaty. They took away the zipper guard, so it's going to constantly catch on the delicate fabric. Worst of all, it no longer mates with older same style bags because they made the zipper smaller. This bag is advertised to mate to another Cat's Meow. The old bag will zip into the newer one, but the new one will not even remotely zip to the older one. Super lame. Took away it's little side pocket, took away it's patch for info and opted to print it cheaply. Over all very disappointed. Going to return.I received my slepping bag without the compression bag. In the description video it clearly says that this item is included it was also one of the reasons why i decided to buy this product.
