German made cream. It comes in a silver box and a silver glass jar. Both the outer of the box and the inner of the jar are safety sealed. My biggest complaint about this product is the inner foil seal only had a tiny lip to grab to remove it and the lip ripped off, in the end I just had to pierce the foil and peel it away and it was a hassle. It should come off easier and have a larger lip to grab onto, especially because it's quite possible the target market for this item, women in their 40s-70s, may have arthritis. This should also come with a scoop spoon so the cream does not get tainted with germs from fingers, but it doesn't.The listing on Amazon needs more information and photos, and in particular, the ingredients should be included in the listing but they aren't at my time of review. The ingredients and instructions are on the box and I LOVE the ingredients, so many good things and nothing I try to avoid.I use this after washing and toning my face. A lot of time with retinol, I follow with my moisturizer, however this cream has moisturizers in it, so it's a 2 in 1. Because of this, I think I can justify the price. It both smooths your skin and leaves it really soft and moisturized (I have dry skin). You don't need an additional moisturizer, this does it all. It's well tolerated by my skin, does not irritate it or cause breakouts. It's a light yellow cream with a pleasant light scent that does not last. It's not quite as thick as I would expect, but it certainly isn't runny. I highly recommend using a gua sha to work it in, it feels so good. Make sure to follow with SPF, this makes your skin sensitive to sun and doesn't have SPF in it.
